September is National Stamping Month!

Welcome!  I love the month of September -- not just because it's my birthday month!  It's summer for the first three weeks -- the pool is still available, although a bit cooler, garden flowers and produce remain abundant, the tops of trees are just beginning to show their golden hues, the evenings are nice for walks and outdoor campfires, with the beautiful season of autumn just around the corner.  Yay!  Another reason to love September is it is National Stamping Month!  So look for a touch a stamping in projects all month.  Let's get started!

The stamp set I used for this card is part of  the "Feel So Blessed" stamp set.  It is the September Stamp of the Month and only available through September and for a really good deal.

Using Black Archival Ink, I stamped "There are so many beautiful reasons to be thankful" and then colored it in with colored pencils.

The front leaf and flower patterned paper is from one of my all-time favorite autumn Creative Collections, "Falling for You."  Such a versatile paper suite featuring nature's colors.  To complement the patterned paper, I also used Fern, Goldrush and Tangerine cardstock.

I finished it off with just a touch of bling, using Gold Glitter Gems.

The inside of my card is very simple.  Using Pewter Ink (new!) I stamped my sentiment, "grateful."  My leaf swag is stamped with New England Ivy and colored in with Colored Pencils.  Another Gold Glitter Gem connects the swag and adds a touch of sparkle.

This card is great for a "just because" to send someone you are thinking of, a thank you, or a Thanksgiving note/placecard for family and friends.

Other materials used include a white daisy card base and envelope from the Value Pack, and adhesives, both runner and foam tape.

All materials used are available from me at papercraftingwithgayle.ctmh.com.

Thank you so much for visiting!  You are appreciated!

Until next time --
Thank you so much for visiting!

I enjoy hearing from you!  Have a wonderful day!

Happy Papercrafting,

  1. The "Falling for You" pattern is really lovely Gayle and I'm loving the way you used two tones of orange to make the message pop out. The message says it all
