ADVENTURE SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

Welcome!  I'm so glad you're here!

We often here about others' major adventures -- a trip in a spaceship, hiking and climbing through mountainous ranges, voyages out at sea, etc.  Maybe you've done some of these things, maybe not.  It doesn't mean that you haven't done anything adventurous.

I look at life as a series of ongoing adventures and little journeys.  It's an adventure raising children, starting a new career, starting a new grade, graduating, learning or teaching someone how to read, building and/or moving to a new home, gardening, refinishing furniture and so much more!  So many memories that touch our hearts!

Therefore, today's layout is simply titled, "Adventure." It is made from a kit, making it super fast and simple to assemble--about 15 minutes.

It includes two traditional 12 x 12 scrapbook pages and memory protectors, along with 12 pocket cards, die cuts, stickers, and two divided memory protectors!  Woo Hoo!  Visit my website to order yours.

I used regular adhesive as well as foam adhesive to give dimension to some of the die cuts and stickers.

Everyday a new adventure awaits for us to open it up and embrace it!  Let's make sure we are preserving the memories that matter most.  Which of life's little, or big adventure photos will you add?

Until next time --

Thank you so much for visiting!

Let's Get Away!
"NO WORRIES" PAGES

Welcome!  "No Worries" -- I absolutely love this collection of papers and embellishments!

Today we'll look at the "Get Away" pages I made using the Paper Pack and coordinating Complements of the No Worries Creative Collection, and Pocket Plus Memory Protectors.

This collection is calming and relaxing, just like a lazy day at the beach!

Included in my color palette are peaceful shades of cashmere, glacier, lagoon, sapphire, whisper and white daisy.

Being a minimum 13 hour drive from the coast, these papers are also awesome for lakeside retreats, cruises, home life and backyard fun!

My layouts shown here are designed to feature photos within the area of the wood patterned paper. Can't you just see the boardwalk to the beach?  It is also designed to be able to add Pocket Plus Page Protectors without compromising the balance of the layout.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, when I make my pages, I like to add just a touch of the "anchor" embellishments, as shown. Then, after my photos and journaling have been added, I'll add additional embellishments to get just the right look!  This generally includes Complements, and the coordinating sequins and/or ribbon.  Of course, sprinkles of bling appear more often than not!

The
No Worries Complements are paired to coordinate perfectly with this paper packet!  I love this!  It is so much fun! They include coordinating stickers and kraft die-cuts, some with white foil.  By using foam tape on some of the embellishments gives the layout a dimensional edge.

The two additional half size pages are made using a Design 1 and a Design 3 Pocket Plus Memory Protectors as shown.   This allows us to include even more 4 x 6 and 3 x 4 photos.  These Pocket Plus Protectors as well as Flip Flaps are truly a go-to when memory keeping!

After six pages, and 2 pocket plus pages, I'll easily be able to make another layout and/or greeting cards with my remaining papers and embellishments.  Woo Hoo!

 Until next time --

Thank you so much for visiting!

I enjoy hearing from you!  Have a wonderful day!

NO WORRIES! RELAX!

Welcome!  Let's take a look at a couple more layouts made with this delightful summertime collection  No Worries Creative Collection. I love how calming and peaceful this collection is!  For these two pages, I used the Paper Pack and its coordinating Complements.

I love the subtle touches of cashmere, glacier, lagoon, and whisper shown on these pages. Your precious memories are certain to shine.

When I make my pages, I add a touch of the "anchor" embellishments, as shown. Then, after my photos and journaling have been added, I'll add additional embellishments to get just the right look! These include coordinating Complements, sequins and/or ribbon.  Of course, a touch of bling appears more often than not, and a Flip Flap or two!

LET'S STAMP!

STAMPAGANZA TIME!

Welcome!  I'm so glad you are here!

Let Stampaganza 2017 begin! Buy any two My Acrylix® stamp sets at full retail price and get a third stamp set of equal or lesser value FREE!  Other than the Stamp of the Month (already a deal at $5) and the  Operation Smile™ True Love stamp set (a fundraiser) Stampaganza includes ALL STAMPS  in the current idea books, PLUS  a collection of popular stamp sets that have been brought back just for Stampaganza!  Woo Hoo!  You can see all of the stamps at papercraftingwithgayle.ctmh.com

They are made right here in the USA, using state-of-the-art processes.  This allows Close To My Heart the ability to produce high quality stamps for you and me to use (over and over again)!  Yes!

So, let's talk about what you need to get started (or continue) your stamping journey!  When you get your stamps, just give them a little rub on your arm to "season" them, then you'll be ready to stamp away!

The quality of these stamps allows them to be easily manipulated to suit your artistic needs. You can mix and match designs, or even stretch or arch designs. Woo Hoo!   "My Happy Birthday" sentiment shown here is a straight line stamp, that I simply curved to follow the lines of our jumping fish.  So simple!
Using these stamps in conjunction with the My Acrylix® Blocks make it possible to see exactly where the stamp is placed every time and to see whether you have even ink coverage on the design. Love this feature! This makes stamping so much more enjoyable for everyone from the novice to the most experienced stamper.  They are super easy and comfortable to hold and use, and will provide you years of stamping enjoyment.

After using your stamps, you'll want to clean them before returning them to their carrier sheet and storage envelope.  This is quick and easy when using the My Acrylix® stamp scrubber and spritz cleaner.
Using this scrubber ensures lint-free cleaning of your stamps. The raised bristles help clean larger stamps, and rubber feet add grip and the spritz cleaner is specifically formulated for cleaning your My Acrylix stamps.   Years of creativity are yours!

Our Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads are dye inks. Dye inks have a soft look. They absorb directly into the paper, allowing them to blend easily with the material. Dye inks are popular primarily because they dry quickly and blend easily.

Archival-quality ink, Mini Pigment Pad Sets, StazOn™ brand ink pads, and a Black Memento™ Ink Pad are also available. See my previous discussions (September 2016) of inks for more information on how these interact with your papercrafting.

I will be taking advantage of Stampaganza this month, and look forward to serving you.

As a reminder, this is the very last month of our Annual Inspirations Idea Book and Sea Glass, the Color of the Year, will be retiring July 31. I don't want you to miss out on something you've considered crafting with!

Also, the exclusive July Stamp of the Month, "Storybook Alphabet" -- so cute -- is only $5 with a qualifying order.  Just another huge savings this month!

Until next time --

Thank you so much for visiting!

I enjoy hearing from you!  Have a wonderful day!
